I've managed to find and buy gti sideskirts and the gti lower valance rear bumper. Both brand new in the box for the sum off £100.

Thought that was not a bad deal.

So went to collect bumper and sideskirts today.  Turns out they aren't the GTI ones.  Dohhhh

Now on the look out for OEM ones

Got my car back today after being in the body shop. Got a few parking dings taken out and had a couple bits of paintwork done finally it had a full machine polish.  It looks rather shiny

This week had service, DSG service and brake fluid change for 370 quid .

Today I had a resonated cat back milltek exhaust with GT tips fitted for 630 quid.

1000 in a week  :jumping:

I have a squeal on pulling away and it sounds like a slipping belt ? Any ideas anyone ?

Is the cam belt the only belt ? ( apologies for being a little naive where belts are concerned )

Definitely - I used to love Uniroyal rainsports for their wet weather grip, but the AS2's are just as good if not better and leave them for toast in the dry.
