No the cameras were Off as work is being done. Just my luck. Does anyone know the part number of the part that the vw logo clips into, and twists into the grill. I need that parts also.

Luckily they must have known how it comes out and there is no damage, other than to my wallet.

Finally a day off work so.......

Fitted R8 oill cap
Fitted Porsche Coolant cap (and modified the little bugger so it now points in the right direction)
Fitted shiny new Chrome VW emblem in the front grill. Forgot how good the chrome ones look after the black one.
Fitted a (ridiculously expensive) OSRAM fog bulb into VALEO LED unit so i could get rid of inner red reflector completely.
Removed red inner reflector from said Valeo unit, RIGHT PITA!!
Clean, polish and waxed the old girl too.

EDIT: Sitting in garden, having a Magnum, Job done!!  8)

Won a RCD510 and CAN Gateway on ebay. Awaiting postman with my recent ebay win on a Micro CAN VCDS so I can code it in!  :jumpmove:

The buy it now at £129 with original certification, etc, etc. I managed to email the seller ten minutes after he listed it at £50 start bid. Right time right place! :P I'd rather have Hex-CAN one day so who knows it might be up for sale if I find a similar bargain.

Well a couple of emotional days for me. Firstly the highs....... on sunday my wife gave birth to my gorgeous daugther Lottie. :smiley: :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

Then I went to pick them up from hospital on the monday and some idiot thought his mondeo was 20 foot wide, took a wide berth of the parked cars and rubbed his car down the side of my golf!!!!!  :sick: :sick: :sad1:

Luckily no dents in the panels but i'm going to need a little time to try and machine polish the scuff out and get the bump strips repainted.

Does anyone know if they are bonded on or held on by clips???

Thanks and I know what your saying and the car has finally taken a back seat. Left on the drive and swapped my polishing cloths for baby wipes. :wink:

Echoing the congratulations! 
My 'baby' is now 11 and just started secondary school on Tuesday.  Enjoy this special time with your precious daughter - it all happens really quickly and before you know it, you're buying them their first mobile phone!! ( I did on Monday) :signLOL:
My Ed 30 now has Xenons thanks to Richwig83. My 2 year Xenon search is finally over.
Now, do I start looking for the self levelling parts?!

Got my car back from the coachworks today,back bumper colour coded and front and both side skirts done looks alot better for it should of came from factory like this
