Gave the soot chucker a full service changing all the filters and swapped out the gearbox oil. The cabin filter was absolutely disgusting  :sick:

Inflated my front tyres (from 29psi to 36psi) to discover the previous owner of my Golf-with-a-boot (Octavia) has fitted 345mm front brakes!! :jumpmove:

Ahh bollox. Think I might have been slightly over- enthusiastic. Might just be 312mm brakes with a slightly different shaped caliper. :-(

Took my wheels off and cleaned the arches, coilovers brakes, wheels etc

Was left with this

Dirty car but clean wheels  :laugh:

Took it to Brands Hatch to watch the BTCC. Was a fun day out and the GTI was definitely the ideal car to take  :smiley:
