A quick 2-hour detail in the morning including engine bay, door jambs, protecting plastics and a Sonax quick detailer to finish it off.

She's in quite a nice shape for being 7 years old already. A clean Tornado Red always turns heads.

What foam are you using?

Can't get mine to stay on the car

A good lance is key. Also i've been told by the kleen freaks guys that using distilled/ph neutral water in the initial mix in the bottle helps not kill off the active ingredients in the foam. Personally i find putting a small squirt of shampoo in helps thicken it up and bring the dirt off a bit better too.

I'm using Auto finesse foam and shampoo.

Also a nice high pressure washer will always help rather than a weak £40 jobby

Booked in to r-tech today for June 13th which yes is a Friday but let's not be superstitious lol. Stage2+ and same for dsg :) excited!

I'm there on the 11th June, for the new evolved VVT remap, from RTech's 2013 TIV remap. Looking foward to seeing what's there to be made from his new techniques using the same car and no further mods added to it since it's 1st remap.

What does this VVT remap bring on top of the TIV remap?

Just out of interest, are these front or rear?

The fronts. The rs3 / TT / Cupra ones have slightly firmer rubber

 :happy2:   :happy2:

I think fresh top mounts with alignment and everything tightened up will feel good even of the top mount difference is negligible   I learnt (after buying some) that the top mounts where the same as I already had lol

I walked out of the pub last night and there was a group of hooded youths stood next to my car, hit the unlock and the LED interior lights lit it up like a Christmas tree and they scattered like rats haha.

My DP cracked its weld at the turbo mount plate. It did not sound good having exhaust shoot straight out of the turbo. Couldn't be accessed without complete removal....so $150usd was the fix. Mo betta purdy sounds again  :drinking:

I fear I am nearing the need for rear wheel bearing hubs. Been noticing a "not good" sound back there. OEM @ a discount runs $225usd each and FAG or SKF run about $110usd each. Aren't FAG bearings the VW's bearing supplier?
