This

Had a great day with Neil and Matt (not with Matt, Matt was at work  :innocent:)

First time at Blyton. A decent little circuit.  Very flat a couple of technical bits and a fair bit of run off.

The car was great! Needs a good wash now  :scared:

Quick question RE: S3 intercooler. Did you have to replace the hoses?

Hi Rich, not in my case, I cut the existing couplings off with a dremel.  and used 45mm - 60mm jubillee clips on the intercooler.  The barb on the ally cooler is meaty so didn't feel the need for pricey clamps.  The jubilees are damn tight.  Hoses were in very good nick.  Took around 5 hours in total (with lots of tea stops) then 1 hour to work out how to get the bonnet back open after the release cable wasn't put back in properly  :ashamed:

All been as good as gold so far.  :happy2:

Passed M.O.T and had new cambelt, V-belt, water pump, air-con service and new evap valve fitted. I chucked in a new activated carbon pollen filter as well. All ready for the start of my marathon Euro roadtrip tomorrow
