Drove swiftly along bendy country roads. The Mk5 handles very nicely.

Got home and read that 3 women and a 10 year old girl were killed this morning after their car collided with an suv.

Makes you think.

Went to halfords and brought a pressure washer, then obviously cleaned the MK5 GTI as well as my mates MK4 1.8T GTI. Also finally (although should have done it before washing) removed the vinyl wrap from my bonnet will get a picture up tomorrow. And at some point in the day the MK5 also took me to the gym

Fitted a DAB sharkfin and WILL NEVER DO IT AGAIN. Talk about a massive PITA. What makes it even worse is the DAB signal strength seem is showing as weak

Sounds like a PITA. Did you test the aerial pre install?

Had some free time today so dropped the rear roof trim and rechecked which plug i had connected the feed from the head unit as i had a hunch it was wired up wrong. Connected to the lead to the WHITE plug out of the DAB antenna and BINGO i have reception.

2016 Mk7 Golf GTD - Reflex Silver with stuff.
