fitted a new small aircon fan today

was very tight getting the cowling of the rad but I completed it in 30mins

no more large fan noise on full blast most of the time

Last leg of the journey home, nearly 600 miles from Bremen. Was a 3,650 mile round trip altogether! Was a good drive and the GTI didn't put a foot wrong all three weeks

Put in a new cam follower and a new rev R PCV valve and gasket to replace my rev C (which hadn't failed, it passed the dip stick test) but even after only doing about 10 miles my MPG seems to have significantly improved :happy2:. Then filled her up with some V-Power Nitro+ so will see how this tank does.

Cleaned my steering wheel. It wasn't actually in too bad a state but looks pretty darn good now - no shiny bits on it whatsoever, just a nice black matte finish  :driver:
