Graymk5gti - yes, my car in for the full system. Can't tell you how impressed I am with the system, and the guys at BCS are superb. Wasn't looking forward to the 5:30 start but it was well worth it.

FINALLY got round to replacing the drivers door loom as the old one was damaged (00470 - Combination comfort Databus in Single Wire) causing the door not to unlock from the fob during the colder months. Its absolutely fine normally but when the temperature drops to 5c or below it starts to play up  :stupid:

Start to finish it too the best part of two hours but they included a couple of coffee breaks and i was taking my time

Mended my drivers side window - the one touch up/down didn't work at all, even after trying to reset the switch in the OEM way.
Replacing with the mk6 switch has restored one touch & looks good  :jumping:
Tried replacing the passenger side and simply cannot depress the mounts on the switch  :ashamed:. Third time at trying. Think I need to remove the doorcard really...

I was told by a VW/Skoda mechanic that the MK5 platform doesn't like Dunlops on the rear, eats them apparently. What Dunlops you running? I got Dunlop Sportmaxx RT's on the fronts, Michelin Primacy 3 on the rears

Blew my clutch the other night.  So now I'm waiting on her to get fixed.
