spent literally all day removing the front anti roll bar. wouldn't advise anyone to do it on your drive! take it to a garage for them to mess about with. absolute nightmare
Agreed...I began that one in the garage and quickly put it back together and delivered it for my tech to do. Not as easy as the rear was to do, right?

I haven't done the rear but I'm sure that is only 4 bolts! After taking the 6 subframe bolts out, disconnecting the steering rack, the subframe was pretty much on the floor. The arb wouldnt come out at all! Even with all bolts/brackets loose it still didnt want to budge. The arb brackets are pretty much solid and they were wedged between the steering arms and the subframe mounting point. Ended up coming out with the help of a crow bar and a lot of force! I can see why there isn't much info on removing this arb or a 'how to' haha

I may be thinking of another car, but don't the oem arb brackets need drilling out?

New arbs come with their own clamps to match the bush

Did that on Saturday. Picked the MK6 GTD last week and only really had a chance to take it for a proper drive on Saturday. Took it for a 250 mile round trip to pick up a RCD510 and even with spirited driving still averaged 50mPG. Happy days :)

Yeah i imagine they do as they're in an enclosed unit. I was just removing the arb and because the enclosed brackets don't move it it was a horrible job!

Funny that, I was just gonna start a thread asking how to adjust these! Mine is actually supposed to be pre-adjusted but its just slightly off to one side and it's gonna bug me if I don't get it just right!

Had mine on for years. Surprisingly it doesn't really bother me. Little things like that normally do haha
