2.5hr drive to AKS in a Polo Bluemotion  :indifferent: to collect my Ed30.

@vRSAlex has done a sterling job sorting out my clutch issues  :drinking:

The long story: Helix supplied Statller the wrong clutch kit (no way to tell as no part no's stamped on it), statller fitted it (it fitted and took up drive just fine - no fault of Statller there). . . When hot the clutch seemed to drag and it was difficult to engage first & reverse. . . Spoke to Alex, who thought it could be clutch hydraulics so booked in with him, replaced master cylinder - issue still there, decided to remove gearbox and noticed clutch was different to other Helix clutches he had. . . Alex called Helix and got a new clutch sorted, and fitted it.

He even stayed late to adjust my exhaust and fix the dogbone mount which my mate & I fitted the wrong way round  :rolleye:

Finally can enjoy driving my car again  :driver:

@vRSAlex enjoy a beer tonight fella, you've earnt it  :drinking:

Refitted a cv boot which has come off yet again and spread grease all over the wheel of the car and torn it.
Now thinking it would have been better going to the pub!  :fighting:
How hard can it be?

It's actually really easy, I've done 2 now and as long as you're careful its a 20 main job with no problems.
