Eagle f1s are great tyres, but I'm now pretty taken with PS3's so I'll probably go for them again next time, they cost me about £7 more a tyre I think.

Changed from Goodyear Eagle F1 Assy 2's to Michelin PSS on the front to give them a try and they're fantastic. Will be putting some on the rear very soon.

I changed from eagle f1s to pilot sport 3s and noticed a difference, so super sports should be even better!

Just gone from Dunlop Sportmaxx RT's to Eagle F1 Asy 2. I find they are miles better and quieter. Only experienced slippery dry/damp roads so far today

I did the same move (and then onto Super Sports).

Dunlop were noisy and poor in the wet. eagle F1 were much better, and Pilot Supersport better still

The tyre fitter (and friend) who came to fit them said that Dunlop make some of the best 15/ 16" tyres but when it comes to 18"+ they're not very good .

When it comes to 18"+ Michelin is pretty much the best. I see lots of high end cars come with Michelin's and Pirelli's but I've heard mixed stuff about Pirelli and much praise for the PSS so gave then a try and am very glad. However the F1's are still very good and more than enough for most peoples needs.

Did an oil change with Millers Nanodrive and put the oil temp sender in the sump while it was drained.

Stack Oil temp gauge is now all plumbed in.

Just put on the R32/ED30 tinted rear lights and what a huge difference to the rear end from a subtle mod.

So much for keeping it standard!

Did you swap out the fog lens for a clear lens.. also makes a big difference for such a subtle change.

Replaced the rear lower control arms. Not easy, but not too bad.

Have you changed ARB's yet? Eibach's work very well with that suspension. :happy2:

Too true, had an Eibach ARB with my B12 Sportline. Felt much more planted and agile

Fitted a new Mk6 window switch as my last was getting a bit hit and miss and also the VW LED plate lights but now they rarely work and keep throwing on the warning lamp!!

Anyone know if turning the cold diagnosis off in vag com will solve this?
