Been busy with gettin a few bits done to her and managed to have it all completed today...

So with a Oil & Filter change, It was time to get these bad boys replaced

The cecm is above the gas pedal.  Take the footwell cover off and look above.  There will be a load of wires going into connectors.

Well thinking it would never happen to me the Golf has decided to treat me on its 40,000 mile birthday to a rusty sill. I noticed when washing it tonight. I have emailed VW Shrewsbury and am awaiting their reply. Fingers crossed it's good news!

I fitted new rear springs and shocks on my GTs. When it went in for the service tother week, it was marked as an advisory as the n/s rear was leaking.

I called into Euro car parts in town and got the bits. Along with an air filter as this wasn't changed during the service. Only cost £150 give or take a few pence, it only took about 4 hours on the drive with my new little trolley jack from that there halfords. Not a bad little jack for £25.

 I'll give it a week and check the bolts again for tightness, as I didn't have my torque wrench to hand.

Went to see Alex Had 42 DD shifter bushes, AKS shifter bracket bushes and a new lateral bracket fitted nicely improved shifts
