Picked up the car today after a full engine rebuild. Full top and bottom end redo after 120k miles. It took 7 weeks for them to get done due to shop scheduling, but very happy to have it finally done.  :drinking:

Had a full 4 wheel alignment at black boots/wheels in motion yesterday. Noticed rear camber on one side was a bit much... Turned out I was right, -2.5 degrees!

Just swapped my under bonnet sound absorber for a new genuine one picked up from TPS yesterday. Small change and out of sight but I'm happy knowing its tidy and not hanging down at the back anymore!
OEM+ 2005 GTI DSG (high factory standard spec and upgraded with S3 alloy hubs, S3 alloy wishbones, Bilstein B8s and VWR springs by my own hands) owned since 2008 and still loving it!
