Had a bulb out on my HIDs....so changed both from 4300k to 6000k...not a great deal in it but 6000k is nicer for sure...took out a daddy long legs that found its way into the headlight as well...happier about that tbh

Do you find this microphone better? I have the stock microphone routed to the overhead position inside the light cluster but find people really struggle to hear me. Was thinking that buying this would give me better results.

Just didn't like the stock microphone being stuck to the side of the A pillar and being visible  :ashamed:

Today a friend recoded the EEPROM of my door modules to activate the folding of the side mirrors with the car key and their automatic opening when turning on the ignition. No need to replace factory fitted door modules. :jumping:

Yeah, I never really liked the idea of paying new door controllers just to save me the hassle of turning the side mirrors button. Fortunately n4s showed his Tiguan doing it and I asked him to find how to do it to my mk5. He initially tried doing it with the same method but had no luck, the controllers are too different. After a couple of weeks of research he got the solution and managed to code this at the 1st attempt. :pomppomp:

Both my Golfs have the same door controllers: 1K0 959 701 N (1K0-959-701-MAX3.lbl). Tomorrow I'll go get my Ed. 30 from the mechanic and next week I'll try to get it coded as well.

It was my friend n4s who did it. He used VAG ODIS.
