What did you and your MKV do today?

Today a friend recoded the EEPROM of my door modules to activate the folding of the side mirrors with the car key and their automatic opening when turning on the ignition. No need to replace factory fitted door modules.

Can you give any further details on this?

How is your brake pedal feel with the big 6 pots?

It's very nice and progressive. Not spongy at all. The car stops really well. I have to mind who's going behind me now.

Good bit of info there, I was not aware of Gti's having different sized master cylinders.
Out of interest what size is the ttrs?

-22,22 mm (Mk5 GTI)
-23,81 mm (Mk5 GTI, Mk5 R32, Mk6 GTI, Golf R)
-25,40 mm (RS3 + TT-RS)

It's easy to check what size is fitted on our cars. The number of the size of the the master-cylinder is easily seen.

Yesterday- rear bumper off to connect OPS wiring loom, then interior trim removal to get it up to the front.

Will get connected this week hopefully.

Bought a fuel filter ready for servicing it, and sorted my shocks,springs, mounts, dogbone, lower mount and turbo back exaust ready for my one stop ugrade/remap trip to the tuners.

Had my Ed30 serviced at Riverside Racing in Liverpool...  They also removed the precat for me too.

Not noticed any difference in sound yet to be honest, though already have a milltek cat back...  Maybe if I was stock then it might be more obvious.  Weather was sh*t so I couldn't test performance neither

Had a tree fall just in front of me last night. 
I stopped in time, but ended up tangled in the tree that blocked both lanes of the road l was on. Took 3 of us to move it to the side of the road.



Will go outside and have a proper look in a minute. Im hoping its not as bad as it looks.

At least the car next to you looks reasonably decent and the owner probably wouldn't want to damage it and you have a column on the other side. better then wedged between two cars
