G14OSE - Mk5 Jetta Project - 25/07/11
« on: June 13, 2011, 11:26:03 am »
Bonjourno Everyone, didn’t have a clue why I wasn’t on here so joined up.

After selling my TT 225 and mk1 golf, I needed something both practical and economical for the commute. So ended up with a 57' plate 2.0 Tdi Jetta which has been nicknamed project G14OSE after my private plate (ps it says Goose) A few of you may have seen a thread on edition38 or section5.

The day I got it;

Over time fitted a few bits and bobs, nothing to amazingly special

Current only mods are;

FK AK Streeline Coilovers (wound all the way down on the front still with helpers)
Dinoc Wrapped front grill surround
Private Plate
GT Steering wheels
Uprated headunit conversion with OEM parts
Uprated

As it sits now,

Still to go in/on;

MOMO 280 Team
Pick my Splits up Tuesday night 18x8.5/9.5s (cant wait to get them on)

Got big plans, inlcuding, more lows, audio, interior just not enough time of money at the moment :)

Let me know what you think :)

Cheers Guys :)

A Friend of mine is a vinyl wrapper by trade so managed to get a good deal, i bought materials and gave him some beer tokens for the labour, looks amazing though, very good job.

I might be buying a genuine carbon fibre one come pay day though, so PM me and we can sort a price if you want to buy mine.

Cheers Mr Plaid, guessing Jaywoo on here :)

Be right :)

Right specs as promised and some more pics;

The wheels are RH ZW4 Cuprad 2 piece split rims;

18x8.5 ET59 (got some hubcentric spacers sorted for correct stance)
18x9.5 ET46

Dead chuffed with them, dishes and centres polished by pure klas 500 miles ago. I Love em :)

PAEDO CAT :)

Also, got an Edition 30 312mm brake setup with calipers, pads and discs :) cheap as chips, refurbing the calipers this weekend in a lovely new colour :)
