Right Progress finally, the interior is now all been painted black and is all back in, very chuffed. Also fitted my audiobahn system and hid all the wiring in the roof, for the OEM+ look, no cheeky wires under my carpets :)

Also the mercedes Eltanins have sold, so order my tyres, they should arrive 2moro. Im running 215/35/18 ALLROUND on 18x8.5" and 9.5". Stretch should be nice :) Also will be able to get my carbon fibre goodness on my grill soon as my new grill should be arriving 2moro :) then i will have to paint it black so it matches.

Whilst waiting for my mates Magnesium Rota's to dry, decided to add a bit of colour to the engine bay. Its the same colour as my Edition 30 calipers are going to be when ive stripped them down.

Stripped the cover and gave it a degrease and clean and prepped it for paint.

Next was to start dusting it with a couple of light coats of white primer to give it a base. Thought white will make the purple pop more. After the primer didn't flat the primer as i wanted to keep the textured look of the cover.

First dusting with Berry Purple

Post 1st coat

I love this colour, maybe its in inner gok comnig out :P but anywho will be getting its final coat tonight, then ill stick it on Saturday.

On other prohress, im rolling all 4 arches tonight in prep for fitting the wheels, then tyres on Saturday, then ill detail the car ready for the big fat tour :)

Right Thought id bang together a bit of an update;

Managed to get the wheels on the car on Saturday with the tyres getting fitted early that morning. I went for Nankang 215/35/18's all around on the 8.5" and the 9.5" they stretch quite nice TBF :) Big thanks to Little Scott at Kwik-Fit, Anlaby (HULL)

Stretch on the 9.5s

I Love it, its not quite stanced right yet but im loving the wheels. Next is a chassis notch and the helpers out on the front. Then a few other touches to make it a bit more personal. Also going to bang the front 10mm spacers on the rear and try some 15 or 20mm spacers on the front.

Also a few pictures from the Big Fat Tour around North Yorkshire yesterday :)

Ill get some better pictures when its "finshed" :P :D
