Menzerna Powerlock - very impressed!!
« on: June 03, 2011, 11:09:23 pm »
I got some Menzerna Powerlock from CYC last week, and have used it on every car I've done since (paretns, GF, neighbours etc) and I must say, it's one of the nicest LSP's I've ever used.

It speads like a liquid wax, you can leave it as long as you want and it buffs off with absolute ease, it sheets like a sealant, beads like a wax and has a nice 'glow' to it, unlike most sealants, which can look a bit sterile and plasticky on some colours.

Few pics today on my Golf:

(excuse the quality, they are iPhone pics!!)

It's massive in the States and I can see why now!!

MASSIVELY overlooked on here - you're missing out!!

Anyone else using it?

Russ.

Looks incredible... wonder what it's like on light coloured cars?

I think I'm doing Al's GTI next Friday, which is Silver, so I'll let you know!

Not used it on a light car yet, they have all been dark metallics.

Can't wait to see how this makes mine look, obviously won't be as reflective, but sure it will look great.

I ordered mine. Cleanyourcar is the cheapest. Got it next day delivery. Can't wait to try it out once I strip back the P21s

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Hi!

Do you guys think this stuff would work applied by hand too? Don't have any know-how to use a machine even if I did manage to get one so I'll just leave that to the professionals :)

The gloss on your car is just amazing! Even photoshop can't get my car that shiny  :happy2:

Menzerna powerlock is applied by hand dude, it wipes off with ease too, much easier than most sealants out there.

I used it for the first time at the wkend on merc slk Amg in black with superb results - very impressed

As above, I used it by hand.

Did a Jag S=Type with it at the weekend - looked superb too.

Doing Al's GTI on Friday too.

Here's what can be done with silver... although it was machine polished a few weeks before over 2-3 days....!!!
