fitting climatronic panel to sport model...? Help
« on: June 16, 2011, 08:34:39 pm »
I bought a mk5 climatronic panel (1K0 907 044 BN) to fit to my 57plate tdi sport (standard has the cheap looking climate control - 1K0 820 047 GA)

But one of the plugs on the back of the climatronic panel is slightly different to the standard ones in my car

Can I buy a connector from somewhere so this will fit?

See pics

Any help appreciated!!!!

Can't get the pics to show properly so please see link to photobucket....

Thanks

Climatronic will not go into your climatic unfortunately mate, you would need to fit the full climatronic air con.

So what else would I need to fit the full climatronic aircon? Or is it not worth the bother?
Thanks
Andy

It can be done mate but I wouldn't bother.......

You'll need a donor car for a start

Ok, edited to say you don't really need a donor car but I wouldn't want to buy all the bits needed from the stealers!  :scared:

I think I leave it, I figured it would be an easy fix, now time to save for better brakes instead!

Thanks for you help

I think you'd need all sorts of temperature sensors round the cabin uswel
