Yes, will head out and do some logging, just a set of logs as listed on the APR site required?

Need to find a quiet private road for 4th gear pulls  

Also assume that throttle just to the detent on the pedal to avoid kickdown is the correct way to do it?

For logging I would run the car in manual mode.

Have it in 3rd gear, then change to 4th, but keep the paddle pressed in, then floor the throttle with the paddle constantly pressed. If u don't keep paddle in, when you floor throttle, it will change down a gear by itself.
I would persevere with Revo, get in touch with Revo hq, and try and persuade them to sort it out before you start swapping tuners, might have to drive to their hq, you might be lucky and get it sorted

Having the paddle constantly pressed was the bit I was missing, thanks.

The funny thing is, I don't think Hurdy had that problem (and I run the same settings on the same car, just a different fuel pump, I/C and Intake) so perhaps it IS a problem with something that goes with the map.

Only times I've had a cel was at Spa in Belgium and then initially after I had the decat fitted.

You can do it either way Nathan.
Manual mode in either case, press until the stop but not to the floor or change up and hold the upshift lever and press the throttle.

Smoke test done on inlet side - no leaks.

Removed Revo completely and back to OEM VW code to see what happens...

Did some datalogging today, car certainly isnt on MBT anymore

Looks ok, holding requested boost nicely and plenty of fuel in there to cope with the high numbers in the ignition advance. Could easily take a good 3-4 degrees out of the map without sacrificing any power or response.
