Free movie maker for windows

I'm having some issues trying to install Windows Live Movie Maker for some reason. What I want it for is a reasonable free movie maker that will work with videos from my mobile phone so I can edit them and add music etc.

Can anyone recommend a good one?

Failing that can anyone help me with the following error when trying to install Windows Live:  error 0x8020008. Tried searching google for it but its just confused me!

Its not an update mate. Although I did have the same error come up with an update ages ago I can't find it in the update list as all show as successful. It keeps saying I have a different flavour already installed yet won't uninstall my current version?

It might be yes. I had Vista but got the free upgrade to Windows 7 which I installed.

I had same issue when using a cracked copy of windows 7. Using genuine?

Er.......just downloacing the windows live essentials 2011? Its a genuine copy of windows 7 though.
