The white worm only affects the diamond cut 18" monza 2's.Although the VW centre caps can suffer from whiteworm, but these are pretty cheap to replace.....VW centre caps were £5 each when I last looked a while ago, so not that cheap for a set - They really shouldn't get whiteworm at all All about the dreaded 'whiteworm': http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,726.0.html

Are the centre caps a standard size?

Decent price but yes the service history is a bit worrying. Test drove another GTI. 2007, 18" Monza's and MFSW. Is is normal for the engine to shake the car a little when running at a stand still. It's just on the other 2005 model it was quiet and didn't move at all when sitting there.
the car should start with about 1100-1200 rpm then quickly subside to 900 rpm
