Part number for the oil filter

How do chaps can some one please confirm that I have the correct filter on my bench at home for the gti? The part number I have is as follows:

06D 115 562

Yup, that's the correct part number.

Used search so before I start a new thread, is the same part no for the Edition 30 & Leon Cupra?

Im off to get a new filter in the morning and VW Garage is closer than Seat

Yep same part number for the Cupra and Ed30 Mike. I did an oil and filter change this morning. You are advised to change the sump plug & washer too.

Oil Filter - 06D 115 562 - £9.80

Sump Plug & Washer - N90 813 202 - £1.55

Have a magnetic sump plug mate, have spare washers somewhere  :drinking:
