Roof Aerial
« on: June 19, 2011, 06:48:35 pm »
Guys,
I've just noticed (had my baby 3 days) how MASSIVE my aerial is!! So im looking to buy a smaller one, one like:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-GOLF-GTI-MK4-MK5-MK6-CARBON-BLACK-BEE-STING-AERIAL-/180673196678?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a10f63286
Anybody changed their aerial to this one, or a similar one? anything i should be looking out for, or could anybody reccomend another one?

Thanks  :happy2:

+1 for the Polo aerial.  Had a Sharan one too, but reception wasn't great!

The FL Octavia has a shorter antenna now which may be an idea.

Perhaps have a look at the pictures of Carl or H's car.

My golf GT doesn't have a roof aerial and no hole in the roof so it must be built in somewhere else  as I get perfect reception from the radio

I take it this was an extra option on the golf not to get an external aerial  if you guys are having to get smaller ones fitted
