Greetings from a TDi Sport nut
« on: June 20, 2011, 08:30:37 pm »
Hi there,

Been lurking on the forum a while prior to getting the Golf TDi GT Sport. as I was looking for ideas and tips on ALL the common faults usually associated with VW's.

The cars a 2.0GT TDi Sport DSG, in Reflex silver with leather.

Pretty much standard at the moment, more into stealth mods or subtle differences which only the VW nuts would pick up on.

Mods done so far,
Interior LED lights,
Illuminated sunroof controls.

Mods on the to do list:
Rear footwell lighting, Have the parts need to get my finger out
Rear ambient lights , Have the parts need to get my finger out
DRL's integrated in the headlamps, Have the parts need to get my finger out
Underbody aero parts, as per Bluemotion, need to get as much mpg out of this as I can!
Skyline style rear inner tail lights, started project.

Problems so far, bonnet got stuck shut  :stupid: apparently a common fault, dealer even had the parts at hand

Hoping I enjoy this MK5 Golf as much as I've liked tmy MK4 Tdi

Hi,

Would a kind member do me a favour please. Inform RichN83 that I'm interested in the Polar FIS+, I can't post yet  :jumping: but would love to get my hands on one of these.
