Need some informations about Ed30 upgrades ^^
« on: June 22, 2011, 03:55:18 pm »
Hello to all the great forum Golf GTI

I need advice about upgrades on ED30 engine please, before any remap.

First, I have some little upgrades :
Oettinger Ram Air
Kn Air Filter in Engine Cover
S3 DV
Milltek Non Resonated Catback
and that's all ^^

The Gulf made a dyno test few weeks ago

(thanks to stealthwolf for the better dyno pic  :innocent:)

What do you think about the results please ?

So, I'm searching for informations about performance parts for my Rabbit ...
I see some topics about this parts :

Neuspeed 2.0T K04 Hi-Flow Turbo Discharge Kit or Outlet kit.
Oil Catch Can.
High Pressure Fuel Pump.
S3 Intercooler.
Downpipe.

Are there other parts to install
Which are most important?
Which model can I take ?

Bests thanks :)

Marc

Hi Nige BCS :)

I have no idea of my budget. I just need informations first.
Upgrades cost a lot of money ^^

My target is a fast rabbit right, but some reliable upgrades too.

OK - Flog the Milltek cat back and raise some finance - go for the full 3.00" system with 100 cell cat and our code to match (330 bhp and 392 nm torque) £1395.00 fitted
Full carbon cold air Induction will help as well £400 all safe on standard internals.

Hi there
The 3.00" TBE is our own system - a modified version of the Blue Flame system that I designed 6 years ago.
The carbon induction kit again is our own design. all viewable on our web site
www.bcsautomotive.co.uk
We have a joint venture with Forge on the uprated intercooler which is standard equipment on our R400 and R500 up grades.
