As in the title,
Just wondering who else has a TDi GT SPORT with DSG, and and tips on using the DSG box on a Tdi.
Best advice with the DSG is give it time to get used to it. It's not perfect but if you adapt your driving a little, you'll get on fine. Anticipate kick-down - it can take longer than you think to drop more than one cog. And take your time with reverse, it can take a second or two to engage. Rush it and you'll be lurching backwards dangerously. For overtaking, use Sport as again kick-down can be a pain. When making progress, be smooth with the throttle to main your gear and avoid the kick-down switch at the end of the pedals travel.
As I said, DSG isnt perfect but learn to drive with it rather than just expecting it to do as you want and you'll be fine. The DSG 'box is extremely well suited to the TDI engine.
