Laser Blue 3dr No 209683, Leather, Monza II's and a few other goodies...........GONE but not forgotten......now in an A4 S-Line Avant 170tdi......god I miss the Gti.

Ever been over Wrynose pass or the littel trip through from Buttermere to Keswick (Newlands pass)?, if not you should great drives.
Laser Blue 3dr No 209683, Leather, Monza II's and a few other goodies...........GONE but not forgotten......now in an A4 S-Line Avant 170tdi......god I miss the Gti.

yes to both of those mate, and hardknott. Some great roads round there. I'm pretty sure there are other Cumbrians on here because I've chatted with them  :happy2:

Im a Cumbrian, from Carlisle. Just found out the other day that Del Boy is too.

We have some fantastic roads round here, being a biker its an ideal place to live! In fact im off to look at a new bike today so i can get out there and enjoy them before our summer ends! Hartside and Kirkstone Pass are two of my favourites!

Digging up an old thread but was out on my motorbike before going through Lazonby and saw a blue GTI . Wasn't you was it by any chance was it?! Think I saw it at Kingstown this morning too

My family have a place just outside Kendal so im up here as often as i can! Been up the Kirkstone Pass today actually (shame it was behind an audi who couldnt drive and would often stop when other cars came the opposite way!  :rolleye: )

I drove down the kirkstone pass yesterday we'd been on holiday in Scotland and decided to stay a night in lake district,I went upto grizedale aswell that roads tight in places

Did you go down the Struggle? Its near the pub at the top before you drop down again and it leads to Ambleside? My brother managed to overtake a bus on the road from Ambleside towards Coniston, that was fun  :scared:
