fitting an S3 or ED30 variant CAI to a standard GTi ????
« on: June 27, 2011, 07:54:39 pm »
Just had a thought as a mate was on about selling the tuning parts off his S3 (8L) before he hands the car back to Audi. He's got a buyer lined up for the exhaust but the Forge twintake is still up for grabs and i'm interested in it.

The only thing is...... will it fit and if not can it be adapted????

I know the turbo inlet is a different size but thats just a case of buying a reducing hose to suit surely????

Any help would be welcomed guys

Cheers,  PAUL

Turbo inlet is the same size. You will need to block off the pipe going to the DV as its in a different location on the ko3.

Woohoo! Thats great Edd, I was under the impression the inlet was a different size??? dunno where i'd got that from but blanking off the DV hose will be no problem. Give me chance to get some alloy turned up on the lathe for that added bling! :happy2:

Will be looking into a catch can set up too and having seen a couple of homemade jobbies over the weekend at inters.... I can feel the urge to get fabricating ..........

We'll see huh? Might be as well to get onto BSH first!!
