Tanner's Laser Blue GTI
« on: June 27, 2011, 09:11:15 pm »
As I am starting to spend a bit of money on a few little mods that I cant actually afford thought it best to start a build thread!

I bought my 05 reg DSG in June 2010 after needing something more practical than my MR2 and convinced myself a Mk5 GTI was the way forwards!
Here is my progress:

Stock:

A good claying & waxing:

Black badge:

I had some H&R 30mm springs put on before Inters:
Really happy with the ride height now:

What are your plans for it mate?
Lucky to get such an old one with Xenons on as standard. :happy2:

Thanks for the comments gents.
I was quite lucky with the spec as it came with nearly every option going then!
I would love it colour coded as my next spend on it but I think I'll probably get that done at the same time as sorting some arch rust that's appearing.
I think a remap and possibly a set of summer "showoff" wheels would be nice too!  :signLOL:

The pressure is on for engagement rings at home though so I'll be spending on the sly for now.
