Any ideas before i book it in to the dealers, car just started idling badly and overrunning on switch of.
it was low on oil,but no warning light on, and it went to the dealers to have coil packs done last week.
any help

I would check for a vacuum leak.

im sending mine into vw for diagnostics, it could be sat in a garage all year trying to find it may aswell pinpoint it then i can sort it

Had the same kind of problem on mine and turned out to be the pcv so bought a revamp kit from dubtek and its alot better and smoother to drive

Mine has the same issue, have changed PCV, coils and plugs and still no change. Just haven't been able to get it to a decent garage for a scan.
Let us know what yours comes up with

It went in to main dealers today, it turned out to be the pcv, although i have not picked it up and driven it yet so fingers crossed thats the end of it.
