Tony Danza had Speedline Turini's, ask him if his came with spigot rings and what bolts he used. It is best not to mix bolts, they should all have the same seating angle or all have ball seatings and which type you use should be recommended by the manufacturer. Once you have eliminated the alloys and bolts you are left with suspension, brakes, alignment and bearings. A long process but you'll get there in the end Phil :happy2:
Golf R gone.

No spigots, they're made with the correct VAG centre bore. They need a 60degree taper bolts, the rounded VAG ones will cause wobble.

If you have the bolts with the wrong shoulder for the seats on the wheel, then i would not drive it another inch. a couple of people on here have had the wrong bolts and the wheels have come off whilst driving down the road.  :scared:

Ive swapped the locking nuts over to the ones that came with the wheels to match the bolts that are on the car which also came with the wheels but its still there. I think it may be brake related as am sure i can feel something at low speeds but then when on the motorway it just makes the problem worse as the car is going faster

Other thoughts:

Those tyres you have a turd, I'm sorry to tell you. They're well known for doing this as pictured below. There may be a problem that you can't see with the tyre yet?

How old are the tyres, have you run them on the back and swapped to the front? VAG geo is rubbish and turns tyres into 50ps, I moved some rears to front when I first got my MKV and got terrible wobble through the wheel.. basically the toe in and camber are on the piss at the rear, I bet they only checked the fronts when you had it done???

Sideways yo!

The wheels & the tyres are only 1 week old, If I remember the wobble was there on my compomotive wheels but it was worse!! maybe due to the fact they were 9" wide & had stretch tyres. So am I right in guessing this could rule out the wheels are tyres?. I asked them to do a four wheel alignment & have a sheet showing the adjustment on the front & rear. The only thing I havnt had redone is the balancing on the rear wheels but as with them all they came balanced when I got them but got the fronts redone to try & fix this wobble! God this is really doing my head in now :(

Which ones of these are on the car?

The bolts which came with the car when new are the raduis seat & the ones which came with the alloys are the cone seat which is now all fitted to the car. As above I used the standard bolts which came with the car with my compomotive wheels but the vibration & wobble was alot worse

Hmm, the fronts weren't balanced properly, right?

Get the backs done too, you can still feel that through the car - although if it did it on your old wheels, then it kind of points to something else. Have the discs been replaced, did they clean up behind them?

Then you're into checking wishbone bushes, topmounts, balljoints.

They were all balanced at first when i bought them new but when i went to the garage to fit them one 10g weight fell off in the back of the car so they said to get both fronts redone. Am i using the correct bolts btw?

Also like you said as it did this on my old wheels this kinda of rules them out.

The car was in at audi a while back for a pinging noise when turning at parking speeds (i have an old thread on here for that) it was the fourth time for that problem and they solved it. They also said my hub carrier was bent/broken so replaced that. After this part of the pad must not have been touching the disk as there was a rusty line around the disk which eventually wore away after a few weeks!! Could there be something not right on the brakes from what they did?

No mate not yet, I did mention it when it was on the old wheels but we thought it might be because there were stretched, The car is at audi in two weeks so I will see what they can find or might bob round to steve before hand
