Team Heko Wind Deflectors...
« on: February 04, 2013, 08:23:57 am »
Hey guys,

Anyone got these fitted?

I ordered some, fitted them (kinda) ... Basically each deflector comes with 2 metal clips to go on the inside of the window channel! I'm stuggling to clip both in, any tip or advise?

Also, are ppl who have them experiencing a slight scratching sound when the window is passing the metal clips?!

Thanks in Advance,
Tom

I got these fitted and never bothered to use the metal clips and never had a problem with them just made sure everything was spotless before sticking them on.

Thanks Guys! I'll take the clips off tonight and see how "solid" they feel...

Just wasnt too confident as there is only a little bit of double sided tape to hold them up!

Got them on my Cupra, my clips fell out eventually but the deflectors stayed in position. Some people put their own tape on to be sure.

Hi, I have been running mine with the clips for about 3 months and they do make a scratching noise as the window enters the rubber. Never though about it tbh and I know a lot of people don't bother with them because of this. I will be removing mine as i am having a 50% window tint fitted. :happy2:
