Its worth noting that the aperture file system is gobbledygook and looks nothing like the organised structure in aperture.

I have a load of folders that i have imported into Aperture (that i dont have as projects) and they look fine to me. They are just a load of random old car related stuff that i couldnt be bothered to put into specific projects.

Welcome to the light Jay. OSX is a dream to use, once you get used to its niggles. Everytime i use my works laptop (XP Pro) i press shift + 2 to go for the @ symbol.

Roll on Lion and Mission Control. Its going to revolutionise the way we use applications again in my opinion.

.
Jay, you will eventually get used to the Mac OS - There's always a learning curve and you have stacked up years of Windows habits to break. Once the Mac becomes natural to you, you won't look back.

If all else fails, check out the Apple Discussions forum - Lots of help there. Anything more serious, ask the techies on the AppleCare phone line.

https://discussions.apple.com/index.jspa < Registering does NOT then get you swamped with marketing junk! It's the same as on here  :happy2:

Also there are lots of cool how-to vids on the Apple Support pages under the titles of 'Articles'. The Mac community is great  :notworthy:

P.S. - I should have my 27" iMac too by this time next week  :pomppomp: :jumpmove:
