I had AP coilovers with the adjustable shocks, they were pretty good, ran quite low, but got subframe problems from the knocking noise due to how low it was, so had to raise it a bit,
Good for the price, and as said, can get quite low.
Far better comfort wise than FK's.

^ Have been running on KW-V3 coilovers for some time now. Installed and setup by VWR (Volkswagen Racing) primarily for fast road use. Corner weighted and aligned. Feel hard but not harsh and I love it!

....Yes they will go lower but it's not practical for road use, especially with my front splitter.

Running mine on KW V1's with about a 40mm drop without any rubbing issues but i have got quite a stretch on the tires, am very happy with the ride quality, its not too firm but feels alot tighter than the standard setup, not gonna be tracking the car so went for the V1's as i wouldnt know where to begin setting up compression and rebound on the V3's

If going low is your main priority, go for FK Silverline Plus! absoloutely amazing coilovers, fairly inexpensive and the ride really isnt as bad as people say...each to their own i suppose though...I may be selling mine in the very near future...boxed and with c spanners, no more than 1500 miles use.

PM me if your interested :)

Yeah same Calibre vinatge set as yours mate had them put on back in May  :drinking: i saw your build thread when u mentioned you were getting some and left a congrats on them looking sweeeet when u put up pics  :happy2:

How much drop you running on yours then? i'm only wound down about 40mm so not tucked or i'd need some camber too, got a bit of poke and get a bit of rubbing when i'm conering hard on bumpy roads but 215 tires help out alot
