So the perseverance with the brakes was worth it in the end it seems? 

I'm always jealous of rolling shots.

Brakes are great... and after seeing these photo i now know why people always look at them to see what the writing says

So how do you get a car rig??? Can you buy one or are they made DIY style.

Once Rich chickens out of getting it remapped, he wont be then able to keep up

Technically they are not rolling shots, they are quite specifically Car Rig photos. See below

Well. You can either buy one from automotiverigs.com for about 700 dollars, or make one yourself. I did half and half. I bought the car clamps from automotive rigs, and then bought some aluminium tubing to make the poles which are in 4 pieces and hinged in the middle.

Thanks TC. It is a little scary yes. 2.5k camera bouncing up and down, but so long as the bits are done up tightly its fairly secure. 

The best results i found where when pushing the car in neutral. The rear view shot was done by pulling the car from the front, 1-2mph max

Yes i remember reading a write up, and the guy did the shots by pushing the car in reverse round a carpark, the illusion of speed is superb.
