Catch Can Location
« on: July 07, 2011, 05:14:35 pm »
Has anybody got any close up pics of where they have located their BSH catch can. I;m trying to fit one and its a tight squeeze in by the washer fluid bottle, air con line etc , I can get it in just about but I am trying to think about emptying insitu which looks nearly impossible.

PS
it needs to go that side as I have an intake.

You have to remove the can to drain it.
Without traction power is nothing!

.
When I had a BSH I located it here: (or should I more correctly say that QD located it there for me)

I now have the Forge Catch Tank and a Forge Twintake.

I'd would have rather it there also but have a restriction in the way of the ITG intake.

This dilemna can be solved easily.

The space made by putting a super lightweight battery in the boot will be more than enough to fit your catch can.

....Yes, but then you need to buy and rig up a battery charger in your garage. The slippery slope of modding, eh?

I have a redtop 25 which I installed just so I could fit my catch can and also to aid weight saving.  My car is parked up all week and has never failed to start first time. No probs with loosing charge.
