Help! - Revs Drop back to 0 after reaching 3.5k
« on: July 08, 2011, 08:55:05 pm »
Hi all,

New member to the site with a problem.......took the car out yesterday for a run and it won't rev past 3.5k revs. When it reaches 3.5k the car judders as if it I am redlining it and the revs drop back to zero.
No warning lights on dash yet......any ideas?
Red is an 07 GTI with 101k on the clock and full VWSH

Any guidance much appreciated before I call the garage in Exeter tomorrow

Cheers

Scotty

VCDS scan would help and likely reveal more than speculation.
