I did both nights at Global Gathering last year and am doing Friday this year.  I really enjoyed it but this was probably enhanced by the fact I got in for free, had access all areas and was being paid overtime!  I'm a massive Faithless fan.  They were the headline act on the Friday so I was in my element but Dizzee Rascal was the headline act on the Saturday.  After 3 minutes of him shouting mother effing this and that, I went to listen to someone else!  Carl Cox was fantastic.    There was a heavy police presence particularly at the entrance and my eyebrows were raised slightly at the number of poeple I saw being led away in cuffs by plain clothed rozzers and also read stories of security staff standing idle watching cars being broken into and tents in the campsite being pilfered by members of the "travelling community". My first festival so maybe this is par for the course?

I go to Creamfields every year...except this year as am in New York.

I think Creamfields went through a stage when the line up was inferior to global but last couple of years it has been back at the top with some awesome tents and better security/less scallies since it moved from Speke.

Have never been global though so could not say it was better - i would do both if i could  :happy2:
