ESP Light
« on: July 09, 2011, 09:58:47 pm »
Evening all, after having left my ED30 untouched for a while I returned to a flat battery.

After the AA got me back up and running I noticed that my ESP light was on the dash - nothing else was illuminated.

I tried pressing the on/off switch but nothing happened and it was still on after a drive of about 45 mins.

It has never been on previous to today so i wondered if anyone had any ideas what is causing it?

Cheers,

Tom

No I doubt I held the button down for 10 seconds... I'll try that tomorrow!

Does it 'reset' if the battery dies?

i only say that because that button only has to two functions, quick press and long press.

If that doesn't get rid find someone with vcds in your area and get them to scan it for you

Try doing the basic steering settings, right all the way, left all the way and then drive straight.
