Milltek exhaust

Does anybody know if a gti milltek exhaust will fit my gt170.

ive heard they fit but need modding. the end pipe that fits the rest of the system is a little narrower or wider? one fo the two.  however do confirm it before

yes it may if its a miltek one, depends, if its used ask the previous owner as usually you can customise them to sound how you want

I had one on my 170 last yr didnt make that much of a diff, better of putting tips on the standard exhaust

The best option would be to run a 6.00" round can on a custom pipe and no rear silencer (sound balance is better the further up the car the silencing is employed).
Alternative would be to fit the Milltek but again leave out the milltek back box and avoid the need to take the gasses on 90 deg  - 180 deg flick through the rear silencer.
This set up up will sound the best with out making you sound like a tractor and also benefit exhaust gas speed when remapping for big power. :happy2:
