+1 :congrats:

I think he is going to be the first team driver to ever beat Hamilton. Also got a very very funny feeling that Jenson and Mark Webber are going to be swapping seats for 2013

Hamilton drives into somebody yet again, ruining their race

This just days after 'issuing a warning' to Mclaren that they need to improve the car to keep him as one of their drivers  doubt any of the other top teams would want him. I say mclaren should kick him to the curb and give Paul De Resta a drive.

Button was faultless :congrats:

....Lewis Hamilton made one driving error during the race and made numerous skilful overtakes during the same race. But you wish to be an armchair jury  :rolleye: - It was a racing incident, pure and simple. And btw I'm a big fan of Felipe Massa and can understand his misunderstanding. Lewis was wrong to have bullied him in Quali. I'd like to see how well you could do in a F1 race.

Yes, Jenson was faultless and deserved his 2nd place.

All it takes is one mistake, look at the pro drivers that manage to race competitively and finish races in high positions.

Lewis has has far too many 'racing incidents' by driving into people and a lot of the other drivers seem to be commenting on it, the presenters on BBC all say the same thing, the F1 mags and forums can see it. How can he ask for a quicker car? He cant get to the end of a race without smashing bits off it!

Then hes not even open and honest about things and looks to blame others whenever he can. Massa was on course for a good finish today and not even an apology from Lewis for ruining that. F1 is a small community and it seems he doesnt have many friends left. Having a dig at his team for not making his car competitive enough is a sure fire way of losing the few that he does have around him.

Lewis does not have the perfect personality but who cares. I would not want to watch a drone just going round, and he has lived in the McLaren team since being a child so i think it is a positive thing that he has developed not quite how they would have expected. Lewis and Alonso are the best 2 drivers with Vetel learning very fast, soon to go past them i think. But Lewis is unique and his desperation to win enriches the whole event each weekend.
I dont quite get people not liking racing drivers because they are German or have red hair. My bases for support or just watching is based on whether i like the car or how good a driver they are.  :happy2:

You can hardly say he drives into people. I'm quite sure he isn't sat in the cockpit driving along and says to himself "i know i'll drive into them now, break something on the car, ruin my chances of winning or getting on the Podium and test the stewards to see if i can get away with"

I think it's more that he is willing to take every single opportunity that presents itself to get past another driver. He will quite literally drive the wheels off the car to try and win. Sometimes it pays off and sometimes it doesn't. It's very easy to be a "really good driver" if your team build you a car that no one else can match. Therefore giving you clear air to just drive away. Don't get me wrong Vettel is a very very good driver and is getting better all the time. He has more skill than all this forum put together no doubt. BUT he hasn't been challenged very much as his team mate who "apparently" has an identical car is anything from 05.-1.5 secs slower. I would like to see Hamilton be his team mate with an Identical car and then see how well he does as i do believe a lot of Vettel's skill is down to the car.

I am a Hamilton fan and will openly admit it. One because he is british and two because he is entertaining to watch and is widely acknowledged and accepted to be the fastest driver currently in F1. He just needs a car that will deliver him race wins (which is what he is saying) I am also a Button fan again because he is british and also because i love his cool headed approach to races. Don't forget a lot of what you see/hear in the news & forums is people's opinions and often they grab a soundbite from a driver and don't show the whole statement so that it can be delivered in context. Prime example the comment he made about "maybe it's because im black".

The only driver i really really don't like is Alonso. But i think any sane person in the world can understand that

Hamilton needs to re-instate his father as his manager.  Someone who knows racing, and not Simon Cowells agency as current.

I would to see the old LH back at the top, even at the expense of JB .

I think the only current F1 driver known to have deliberately driven into people is the other Boxhead, Shoemaker.  :driver:  :fighting:

It was actually a fairly exciting Quali and by no means a forgone conclusion that Seb Vettel would make pole - He only did so at the last minute. Both Lewis and Jenson were very close to it throughout.

Personally, I'm not at all bored by F1 currently and shall be getting up early to watch all the TV race coverage Sunday morning. And probably on the Red Button afterwards too. I'm gonna greatly miss all the BBC TV coverage next season. Jake, Eddie, DC, Martin, Ted, the lovely Lee <-- They're all great at their jobs and mix together extremely well.
