Well, I think Alonso has every right to be angry at the stewards decision! Two successive races where the stewards have penalised him, I'd be pretty pissed! Although having said that his attitude could definitely improve!

Just got back from a great  3 days at sliverstone. well done to the ham and button some really good driving by the the pair of them.   there was a really good atmosphere there, some real good support for the mclaren boys.

gp2 and 3 race was on before f1, there was plently of overtaking in them two races. well done to silverstone for improving the circuit, new pits will look somat else once its all completed next year.

Its harsh but I wondering whether they did so because of all the extremely negative and unproffesional things alonso and ferrari said about the FIA after last race, including comments of the fia fixing races etc

If thats the case , then he's only got himself to blame.

I don't see how Alonso can complain

He gained a position by cutting the corner. Kubica had every right to defend the corner as Alonso was trying to bully him out of it. He may have had no choice to cut it but he should have immediately yielded. He didn't and because it took ferrari so long to get the decision from the Stewards, which was to give back the position, Kubica had broken down. So the Stewards had no option other than to give him a drive through penalty.

It shows just how much of a cry baby he is when he says he is "too angry to talk" what a girl. it's not as if he was going to win the race.

It's a race pure and simple so these f1 guys should stop being a bunch of girls and get on with racing  :rolleye:
I love touring cars more as they don't give a Toss and just race  :driver: but the race yesterday was good and nice to see it at silverstone

Mods yes but way too many to stick in this little box

Alonso did indeed cut the corner, and Kubica gave him no option. By nipping over the grass he at least avoided a crash. But once Kubica retired, there really was no advantage gained by Alonso, and I think it harsh to penalise him so heavily. Don't get me wrong, I think the guy is a tool, but it was a harsh decision.

Really pleased that Hamilton did so well but very disappointed about Webber winning - There's something about him I really dislike. Alonso is worse though. Both whingers.

^^ I find Webber to be a nice genuine guy. I had a chat with him at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and he came across very well

i agree, webber comes across as a very genuine bloke

He only wants to be treated as an equal in the team, because lets be fair, its not as if vettel is the better driver, they are extremely evenly matched.

I can understand that if there is only one new available part for the team, they should choose the guy with the most points, but for horner to remove the wing from webbers car and put in on vettels is not on.   Would it have been the other way if it was weber in front with the broken wing, i doubt it.

Its to early to be picking drivers out. were only half ay through the season and theres feck all points diference in the top 5
