I had such high hopes for F1 this season. Hadn't watched the last 2 because it just became a prosession. Now we have this bloody FARCE !  Makes my blood boil  The racing last Sunday was bloody good too.

I'm extremely disappointed that Massa didn't get through but pleased for Button.

Extremely close again and really promises to be an excellent race.

The BBC team are great - I don't know who the young tall chap is but he's very good and Eddie Jordan and David C are great together too. I don't rate the guy with Martin Brundle much and Lee McKenzie is improving and actually got Alonso to laugh. I wonder if she can do the same with Raikkonen!

The Ferrari is most definitely by far the best looking most elegant car in this new formula.

I am a true Tifosi fan! Gutted for Massa, but simply a bad schoolboy error on his/Ferrari/Rob Smedley's part!

What a rubbish end to the race !  I understand the safety factor for the driver's but I was all up for a exciting finnish! Another good result for Brawn Gp even under the circumstance's!

No-one's fault that the weather interfered with the race - Better safe than sorry.

Satisfactory result for Brawn GP. Shame about the weather tho. The BBC coverage is really polished and very professional.
There seems to be much less Bollotix talked by drivers and team members this season so far. I think its a concious effort by everyone to be a lot more transparent, and thats a good thing. Button comes across very natural in interviews and its so refreshing to see a driver almoust bouncing with joy  Provided we get no more controversy, it should be a cracking season.  :happy2:

^^^ I agree with what you said mixit! Well said!

However, I really don't like the whole 'half-points' issue!!! OK, so I know its a rule thats been around for years, and it kind of makes sense, but the teams have been at the track since Friday for 1st testing, spent a great deal of money on running the cars all weekend, and for an issue that is out of their control they have to make do with 1/2 points! Shocking IMO! Ok, so it is proportional, but there are results that could happen that could compute to a drivers disadvantage!

Really, really happy for Button, I've been wishing for years that he could be in a competitive car. Came about at just the right time for him too. I think one more lackluster season would have ended his career - in favour of some of the new guns such as Bruno Senna!

Is it just me or do others see a touch of 'friction' between DC and Eddie Jordan?

It has been going on from day one, i think it's more a case of DC doesn'y agree with some of Jordan's observation's, and is not afraid to say on live TV. Hopefully DC will stay doing this for a while he is very accomplished in this role already.  :drinking:
