Schumi got a 20sec penalty - which has demoted him to 12th place.

Absurd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you read the rule from the FIA you will see that the decision is utter nonsense!!!

should have just put him back behind alonso at worst imo!

exactly, you would have thought they had enough of an argument to at worst have to give the place back.  20 seconds is a horrendous penalty when you take into account the fact that everyone is bunched up behind the Safety car.

I knmow why its such a arsh decision though.  Damon Hill was with the stewards doing the investigation

I know why its such a harsh decision though.  Damon Hill was with the stewards doing the investigation

....I was hoping that Damon Hill was a better man than that :sad1:

Come  on chaps you all know that team Ferrari can do no wrong in the FIA's eyes, nothing to do with Damon Hill.  Massa did not get a penalty for balking Button in qualifying.  :popcornsoda:

I think the lack of overtaking opportunity makes Monaco good to watch. Becomes more of a test of a drivers patience and skill at picking the right moment and then nailing it. One mistake and it's race over.

True, but the FIA is now run by Jean Todt who is one of Schumacher's closest friends.....

That won't do much I don't think....they can only appeal against the decision, not the drive-through...resulting in the 12th place finish still standing.  :stupid:

Can't believe how Hamilton didn't get Pole.

Lost a lot of time in the middle sector considering he was 0.255 up on Webber's pole time after the first sector. But a least he is in a good position to take the fight to him.
