Looking forward to todays race, should be a good one, this is one of my favourite tracks  :party:

on a separate note, found out what my role will be at silverstone this year. I'm going to be a spectator marshall in one of those groovy orange tabards  :pomppomp:

there will be the crowd who have all paid a fortune to get in, then a fence, then no mans land, then me, then the safety barrier then the track  :jumpmove: only rule for me is no cameras

not sure which corner i'm on but its in an area where if a car comes of it will be parked in there until the tracks clear to recover it

also found out yesterday that someone we know has a paddock and VIP access pass and is attending too so will be doing my best to see if i can piggyback my way into anything interesting if time allows

cant foopin wait!

absolutely outstanding race today.  id go as far as to say this has been the most exciting race of the season.


What was schumacher playing at today.  could he have rammed any more cars.


Hamilton was in another class there, absolutely outstanding.

Totally as Sy says: An outstanding and exciting race throughout. Also greatly helped by the excellent BBC Jake & team presentation.

I particularly liked how the lovely Lee got the better of Schumi! For once he was lost for an answer! And I'm not a Schumi hater. Twas on the Red Button afterwards I think.

Good race today and it shows you that we don't need rain for exciting races to happen.
Schumi was awful today and the start of the race was almost like the first day back at school. Never saw so many incidents and investigations by the stewards.

germans beat the english twice today, and as much as i dont like it they deserved both,

chuffed to bits with hamilton for keeping himself in 2nd place even with that drive through, and chuffed to bits alonso got overtaken at the end. 

Hopefully button wont be penalised for this safety car speeding incident.

loved david coulthard putting eddie jordan in his place about his lack of on track knowledge about webbers crash.

webber was also lucky to walk away from that crash as well, thank god, because i want him to beat vetel in the championship

On the day, the best man/team (F1 and footie) won. Lewis has really matured as a driver - Excellent performance by him.

I thought Coulthard was talking rubbish and agree with Eddie Jordan and the Lotus guy on this one. The more I see DC, the more he begins to irritate me - He's such a weird guy and with very little sense of humour.

Glad Webber is ok but I don't want him to win the Championship.

As for Alonso, he's a spoilt brat.
