Shows how much you guys really like F1 when you're only comments are aimed at Alonso not winning :stupid:
Ii really dont see where your coming from with that comment.

My point is that the large majority of comments are squarely aimed at Alonso. That, for me, isn't discussion about Formula 1.

Is finding someone to hate (bizarre choice of word by the way) really necessary?

Vettel winning this season is the best result as far as I'm concerned  :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: though it must be said that all the contenders deserved to win the drivers championship.

I've always liked Vettel and recognised his talent. Great for a team like Red Bull and great to see Lewis and Jenson on the podium. I'm a Ferrari fan but not an Alonso fan and they'll be back to fight next season.

Didn't Jake and his team do well! Best TV coverage ever!  :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: I always enjoy the red button forum afterwards.

I can't wait for next season.

So when people are talking about Alonso been a c@ck for his actions on petrov after the race, this has nothing to do with formular 1

I hate Alonso carnt stand the guy whats bizarre about that im sure im not the only one

Its not my problem you carnt see past Gonzo's eyebrows :P

That aside i feel for next seen Mclaren really have to get better at pit stops, they have let there two drivers down this season when they've brought there driver in to late or to early and did it again today.

Redbull deserved it they have had the fastest car all season as ive said before, Vettel did make a job of it though but got there in the end.

One other thing who is the other commentator along side brundel he is utter useless i find myself correcting his mistakes in every race and so does brundel.

I think it's a bit too easy to feel like an over keen football fan and get carried away with focussing too much on hating rivals. I find it stupid when football fans refer to their favourite team using the word "we" as if they played for them or were an employee.

Surely each one of this season's first 5 contenders for the drivers championship deserved to win. We each have our favourites for a variety of reasons such as team, driver ability, driver character, nationality, and all are valid.

Thanks Robin, you conveyed my thoughts far better than I did. I'm not having a go at anyone personally, but when so much conversation is aimed at one individual it gets a bit tiring, whether I agree with the comments or not.

I'd echo what others have said about next season, really looking forward to it. Sounds as if McLaren will be in a strong position with their KERS system, and it'll be interesting to see some drivers move around. I can't see Webber being at Red Bull, nor Massa at Ferrari. I'd love to see Kubica at Ferrari, at least then I'll be able to fully support someone there.

the main teams have all their drivers signed for next season dont they.

i was under the idea that kubica might be moving to ferrari the season after next, i also thought Red Bull had signed webber for next season as well, and the same with massa and ferrari

Yeah, that may be right. Saying that, Ferrari had Kimi signed for this year, and look at what he's doing now

Thats great.....The race might not have been a classic but certainly was very tense.

Certainly feel Vettel was desrerving I know he had his moments but on the whole some bad luck cost him alot of points with alonso the main beneficiary.  Was a good day yesterday collected winnings from my Feb bet on Vettel to win, and off a colleague for saying Lewis will beat Shumi.  Paid for all my new car cleaning items  :jumpmove:

I hope the Haulk gets a Renault drive as he is certainly a class act, failing that maybe a test driver with merc for a year and take over from Shumi, as they have the same manager

Paul Di resta also desrves his shot he will defiently be a top line driver given the chance.

With Kers back next year I think that may neautralise Red Bull as they did not have it lastyear, and fingers crossed plays back into Mclarens hands, roll on Mar 2011
