I thought the Ferrari "Obituary" was a bit OTT. They're by no means finished yet this season. Its early doors and I'm sure Kimi will soon be back on the pace. It's refreshing to see them down the grid. I too enjoyed Lewis's interview but I do think he's a little more guarded in what he says these days. He doesn't seem quite so happy go lucky this season. I guess he's had an awful lot of crap to deal with. Its a shame Brundle didn't muscle in on Bernies conversation, would have loved to hear the ribbing Martin would have given him for that Red Jacket.

This year seems a little strange after last year. The changes have definitely mixed up the pecking order for the moment. It would be great to see two british drivers winning the championship in two consecutive years. :happy2:

I have to say apart from the 10 laps at the begining I thought it was quite dull and processional.

Was very impressed with Button he drove a very good race.  Biggest shock was Piquet keeping it on the track  :rolleye:

well Jenson's done it again! 4 wins out of 5, and lapping poor old Lewis Hamilton in the process

Good race, change in strategy won it for him. But Massa having to do final 2 laps at Nissan Micra speed was just funny. Running out of fuel...tut tut.

The best bit was watching Eddie Jordan pretty much make the BBC's mind up for them, that they wont be renewing his contract next year after he verbally assaulted Kimmi Raikonen
It was funny watching Coulthard's eyes.

Was this in the pre-race coverage or post-race?? I missed this!!

OK race, so happy for Button, I really want him to win the Championship now!

It was in the pre race stuff, they where discussing his poor performance this year and they asked Jordan what he thought and he just spouted out,  He should be suspended immediately its disgraceful, if he is not committed they need someone else straight away.  :chicken:
See if you can find it on you tube it was funny.  :driver:

Well, it's about time someone spoke out about Raikonnen - He just doesn't seem to have his heart in it.

Much as I think Hamilton is very talented, it's good to see him have to try harder in a 'lesser' performing car. He seemed arrogant in his post race interview though - Blaming all on the car and strongly implying that it was his team's fault.

Massa did very well but held up Vassel and Button was a star.

To be fair I doa ctually think that Hamiltons car really is that bad.  He drives the socks off it when it really it that slow only helped by the KERS system that allows them to overtake now and again.

And it is about time somebody said something about Kimim he has been rubbish for ages.  Half the time it looks as if he can't be bothered to go out there.  I did have a good old laugh at Massa, well not him but his team.  Not his fault they ran out of fuel.

But as said above, a completely boring race as usual back.  Roll on the next WTCC/Moto GP weekend on Eurosport for proper motor racing.

Jenson is arrogant IMO. He's an average driver in a superb car; Lewis is a superb driver in a below-average car. No wonder he's unhappy with its performance. Even Ferrari have managed to sort themselves out with Massa.

Ferrari were stupid with Kimi. They paid him something like 40-50m euros up-front after he signed for them; now he's a world champion, what else is there to race for? He's got the money, he's got the title, and now he's got his own small teams and money earners.

Alonso, despite my intense distaste for him, is another very good driver in an alright car.

Ross Brawn's brilliance however is putting everyone else in the shade.

The only part of your post I don't agree with is that you think Jenson is arrogant - I just don't see that in him on TV. I greatly admire Lewis but can see arrogance in him occasionally.

In Felipe Massa I see confidence and no trace of arrogance whatsoever - Partly why I like him so much.

I know there can be a fine line between arrogance and confidence but I'm talking about arrogance.

Speaking from personal experience here (albeit a single experience, everyone has bad days and so forth).

Incidentally, Massa is a real gem and my brother inadvertently destroyed his career... but that's another story

Have to agree with that...lewis does occasionaly have this way about him.  But lest he honest, if i could drive half a well as he can then i think i could easily be a bit big headed

Its a shame that Rubens feels hard done by, i do hope that Brawn GP are treating them both fairly.

Hamilton is realy showing his mettel at the moment.  the car that he is driving is obviously not as good as the rest of the front runners.....just look at Heiki's race ace to see how much speed Lewis brings to the car....impressive stuff
