bit this weather although is making me want to get on track is also making me want to get

! Spent the last 3 days in beer gardens.

! Oh well have to move on in cases of such sadness so the car is now down at kpm having some serious mods carried out once again. Should have it back all sorted hopefully in 2 weeks ready for inters.

Well, sort of an update however I have no pics as of yet! The ASTs are fitted which has brought the front wheels in very nicely, the inner arches have been removed so there's no rubbing issues, ARBs have been fitted, engine mounts fitted, cage is on order and in next week then straight to paint. So all being well I should be at inters, bit of a push but fingers crossed! It is all going to be a bit of a rush but kevs doing his best.

Are there many downsides to not running arch liners?

There is only one downside to running without liners and that's just dirt, and possibly the odd chip. However if you keep on top of cleaning I can't see it being an issue.

Don't forget the extra noise too Mike. Removing the liners will mean everything hits the steel section of the car.

Yea it's noisy already with the 888s chucking every bit of loose road surface at the liners lol

As you know John, noise isn't an issue for me having a fully stripped car anyways!

and I have plenty of rubber flying off especially when going from one track day to another with cold tyres and lots of pick up on them to start with!

Well for those of you who didnt see it at inters,the car is now completed and just needs a few tweaks here and there to get it up to where i want it. Will get to find out what its like at combe on the 14th.
