Thanks for the comments guys and heres a couple of pics as to give you a clue what may be happening!  As you can see from the 2nd picture the exhaust turbine wheel has one again snapped clean off after a meer 500 miles since replacement! The 2nd time the turbo has gone in a total of 10k! sh*te TSI engine all i can say thats why they have stopped production of them im guessing to many floors when driven like they are meant to be driven. The reason behind it is a low profile sump, obviously not baffled as its to difficult to do on this sump due to the profile of it and its steel not aluminuim. This is what has caused oil surge on heavy track day cornering and the turbos spindle has just completeley seized up as a result and snapped on both occasions. The oil temps were also reaching between 135 and 142 Degrees C which means its totally broken down by then giving no decent lubrication to the turbo. Hope you like the updates that will follow.

^ But you've uprated your suspension, wheels and tyres, so isn't it just a case that the engine wasn't built for the increased cornering capability that your mods provide?

You could get a accusump system fitted which should sort out or even a dry sump system.  :notworthy:

I looked into the accu and also read a lot of reviews, they say it can overload the engine with oil due to the way the system works and therefore meaning it is swamped in oil which is just as bad as being dry. This is due to the way the valve just squirts the oil in via the accumulator. Thanks for the advice though pal but I think I should hopefully be sorted with my new plans.

Thought it was your car I saw in dock the other day. All I can say is that you'll love the upgrade. Mine is in on Monday for a water/meth upgrade... Are you tempted for water meth on top of the other "upgrades"?

Not yet, but in all fairness to vwr and their rocco, it doesn't get driven half as hard as mine does. It is and has been for a while now just an out and out track car so gets driven to its limits every time it's taken out.

the two vw scirocco cup cars built for 2009 season had same issue in early rounds so tsfi K04 power soon appeared, oil starvation was the issue then so not a new problem

keep the faith geordie  :happy2:
